Data Center Manufacturing is the lead class. Electrical Enclosure is next. IPC and NASA stay in the catalog. Initial courses are 5 days. Recertification is 3 days. Tuition is per student.
Lead class
The lead class is Data Center Manufacturing: high power AI rack build taught from IPC/WHMA-A-620. Electrical Enclosure is taught from IPC-A-630A. TelemView is an IPC Authorized Training Center. J-STD-001 with Space Addendum awards Certified IPC Specialist. NASA-STD-8739.4 and NASA-STD-8739.5 are taught by a NASA qualified Instructor Level B. Classes can be delivered on site at your facility.
01 · High power AI rack build
Taught from IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Who it is for. Specialists who read work instructions, rack elevations, and Eplan documentation, then build data center test racks.
Certification. TelemView certificate of completion.
Outcomes. Students read work instructions, rack elevations, BOMs, and Eplan documentation, then build and inspect a test rack taught from IPC/WHMA-A-620. ESD and handling. Server and rack assembly. Route, dress, and label copper, fiber, and power. Torque. Commercial fiber test. In-process inspection. Label and close.
02 · Enclosure
Taught from IPC-A-630A.
Who it is for. Specialists who read Eplan documentation and build electrical enclosures from it.
Certification. TelemView certificate of completion.
Outcomes. Students read the Eplan documentation, then build and inspect the electrical enclosure. Hardware and ground. Board and harness into the housing. Glands, strain relief, mark, label, and final inspection.
03 · Soldering
Who it is for. Electronics specialists, inspectors, and leads who need specialist soldering for high reliability assemblies.
Certification. Taught by a Certified IPC Trainer (CIT). Upon successful completion, students receive official IPC Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certification for J-STD-001 with Space Addendum. IPC student exam fees are included. No separate IPC bill.
Outcomes. Practice soldering and inspection against J-STD-001 criteria, including Space Addendum requirements covered in class. Recognize common defects. Work to process discipline: materials, heat, cleanliness, and documentation habits used on high reliability floors.
04 · Harness
Who it is for. Cable and harness specialists, avionics electrical specialists, and manufacturing personnel building interconnects that will be inspected to NASA-STD criteria.
Instructor. Taught by a NASA qualified Instructor Level B. That credential is issued only at NASA’s official Level A training centers. There is no private shortcut.
Outcomes. Crimp, assemble, tie, strain relieve, and inspect cables and harnesses to the operations taught from NASA-STD-8739.4. Read a formboard. Catch a bad crimp before it ships.
05 · Fiber
Who it is for. Specialists terminating and installing fiber for aerospace, satellite, ground systems, and high availability infrastructure.
Instructor. Taught by a NASA qualified Instructor Level B. That credential is issued only at NASA’s official Level A training centers. There is no private shortcut.
Outcomes. Terminate, polish, inspect end faces, and install fiber assemblies using the specialist practices taught from NASA-STD-8739.5. Use inspection, not guesswork, to accept or reject a terminus.
06 · Recertification
Who it is for. Specialists whose prior specialist training is coming due. In this field, retraining is commonly required on a 24 month cycle.
Outcomes. Refresh the standard you already hold, complete the shorter recert lab and evaluation, and document current training. J-STD-001 recertification renews official IPC CIS. IPC student exam fees are included when the standard is J-STD. No separate IPC bill. NASA standard recerts document training to the published standard. If your prior training has lapsed, you may need the full initial course instead. Tell us the standard and last training date.
